Basic controls

Necesse’s basic controls map movement to the standard FPS-style WASD keys. The core play style is to move with the left hand while using the mouse to handle actions such as attacking. In addition, because actions like using health potions, mana potions, and buff potions are laid out near the WASD keys, it’s best to get used to pressing them simultaneously while moving with WASD.

Hotbar

The hotbar, which lets you quickly switch items, can be changed using the number keys 1–0 or by scrolling the mouse wheel to switch slots. While it comes down to preference, switching with the mouse wheel while moving with WASD is recommended.

Item sets

The “item set” feature, which lets you quickly switch between different item combinations, has no keybindings by default, but since it can be customized to match multiple builds and playstyles, it’s convenient to assign keys yourself for sets used often.
